With 3 platinum records at just 23 years of age, he’s already considered Spain’s foremost emerging artist
Antonio José has taken less than three years to become one of Spain’s foremost emerging pop artists. He’s probably one of the few or even the only artist to succeed internationally after the TV talent show he took part in, with a sound and promising career in Spain and developments in Latin America.
Supported by a legion of fans at signings and gigs and also on social media, with 4 platinum records, he’s been Number 1 in the official sales charts for eight weeks, has achieved consecutive number 1s on ITunes and has given over 200 concerts to more than 250,000 people. He’s also had the honour of being the first Spanish artist to be Number 1 on ITunes at the same time as “Despacito” was top of the digital sales chart.
Antonio José keeps growing and progressing, both personally and artistically. He’s 100% involved in composing his songs, regularly collaborating with renowned songwriters such as Claudia Brant, David Santisteban, Andrés Suárez, Mauricio Rengifo (Cali & El Dandee), Antonio Orozco, Diogo Piçarra, Bebe and David DeMaría, and also in live performances with Antonio Orozco, Carlos Rivera and Pablo López.
His third project has been produced by Mauricio Rengifo (Cali & El Dandee), Andrés Torres and David Santisteban, an extraordinary combination that has created an album full of hits.
