The Irish singer-songwriter of universal pop-folk fame
Damien Rice was born in Ireland and recorded his first album O at home, which he released in his home country without the backing of a record label. Numerous tours followed, along with two more albums, 9 and My Favourite Faded Fantasy.
He has a couple of unconventional predilections when it comes to his tours: he prefers to hit the stage without a setlist, and Rice also opts for travelling by sailboat, rather than a tour bus. What’s more, he’s planning a seafaring tour of the Mediterranean for summer 2023.
He’s got some new tracks under his belt, and this may end up in new releases. Only time will tell. For now, what we have is new tour dates.
