The king of Spanish rock&roll.
Almost four decades after setting foot on stage for the very first time, José María Sanz Beltran, better known as Loquillo, is now a legend of Spanish music. His career may be long but this title has been conferred by the public and in the time-honoured way: by building up such a close relationship with the artist that all the tickets were sold out for his 2016 concert at the Las Ventas bullring and for his December 2017 concert at the Wizink Center.
Beyond the huge success of these two concerts with just one year between them, forming part of a two-year tour of Spain, they’ve also confirmed that Loquillo‘s long career has earned him a place in the history of Spanish music. A career, like others, that’s been gradually forged over time, taking on different artistic challenges, overcoming adversities and changes in the music industry and gathering the necessary experience to become an essential figure of Spanish rock.
