p>Amaia is a singer, songwriter and performer from Pamplona who has cemented her legacy as one of the most distinctive and intimate voices in contemporary Spanish pop. She rose to prominence after winning the ninth edition of TV singing competition Operación Triunfo in 2017 and representing Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 alongside Alfred García with their entry ‘Tu canción’.

Since then, her career has been characterised by creative freedom, a clearly defined artistic sensibility and a constant search for a musical language of her own, where pop, indie and singer -songwriter traditions coexist in an intimate and honest approach.

At the beginning of 2025, she released her third studio album, Si abro los ojos no es real, a dreamlike record that brings together different sonic worlds with a strong and personal identity. Produced in tandem with key figures from the contemporary music scene like Ralphie Choo, Alizzz and Drummie, the album reached No. 3 on the national charts and No. 1 in vinyl sales.
