Love of Lesbian began their musical journey at the turn of the century and brought out their first albums throughout the first decade they were active, building up an identity which shaped them as a band.
In 2009, they released their iconic album 1999 (o cómo generar incendios de nieve con una lupa enfocando a la luna). From that point on, they were no longer considered beginners and developed a following among the general public. From then on, successful tours followed and they racked up the gold records, hitting the number 1 spot on the AFYVE charts and travelling to London and Latin America (with acclaim from critics and audiences, making them the Spanish band with the greatest success in Latin America to date). They were also awarded with a Latin Grammy for their album El poeta Halley (2017).
In 2021, they published the long-awaited follow-up to El poeta Halley, an album called V.E.H.N. (Viaje épico hacia la nada). The presentation tour will pass through the main Spanish cities and festivals, European capitals (London, Edinburgh, Paris, Berlin, Brussels and Geneva), some Latin American countries (Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia and Argentina) and their first visit to the USA with an extensive tour of over 25 concerts.
