Farsa (gènere impossible) is Sílvia Pérez Cruz’s latest album. This artist from l’Empordà will be playing her own compositions created in a dialogue with other artistic disciplines such as theatre, dance, cinema, poetry or painting. This album, which was recorded between 2019 and 2020, is a response to Sílvia Pérez Cruz’s concern regarding the duality of what is shown and what we really are, about the fragility of intimacy in a time where the surface goes before anything else.
Accompanied by the Farsa Circus Band, Sílvia Pérez Cruz will be making a comeback to Cap Roig with a live show that will be full of colour and emotions. The singer and composer will be reunited on stage with great musicians of her generation, after many years following their own paths of research and love for music: Marco Mezquida, piano; Aleix Tobias, percussion, Mario Mas, guitars; Bori Albero, double bass; and Carlos Montfort, violin.
