Ben endins is Sopa de Cabra’s flagship live album which was recorded at the Sala Zeleste in Barcelona (what is now Razzmatazz) and contained the greatest hits from their early career. That record was to become a turning point in the band’s life. Its success was overwhelming, and marked Sopa de Cabra out as a one of the top bands in an emerging scene that used Catalan in their songs unashamedly.
Three decades later, Ben endins has become the best-selling album in the history of Catalan rock, with more than 100,000 records sold. It is the portrait of a generation that really connected with the values that Sopa de Cabra stood for. An album where we can find their first hits, such as “Si et quedes amb mi”, “El boig de la ciutat”, “L’Empordà” and “Mai trobaràs”.
Now, Sopa de Cabra wants to go back to that moment with a commemorative tour where they will revisit a large part of this album and play songs from their latest album, La gran onada (2020). They will also include their greatest hits, which have led them to be considered one of the great bands in the country.
